National Lab Operations Manager

ISQ is currently recruiting a National Lab Operations Manager to Lisbon.

Main Responsibilities:

Direct report to Lab Director, you must collaborate in the definition and implementation of the strategic plan defined for the business unit, namely:

• Plan, coordinate and supervise the activities of the business unit, with a view to the satisfaction and continuous improvement of the services provided;
• To carry out the financial management of the business unit, ensuring its good financial and operational performance
• Collaborate in the preparation of the business plan and monitor the commercial development of the department;
• Manage and lead the human resources of the department, with social and communication skills;
• Identify business opportunities and ensure a proactive and collaborative commercial management, promoting the commercial development of the business;
• Supervise the activities developed by the service managers;
• Supervise the execution of activities of greater technical complexity;
• Coordinate the processes of the Quality Management System, Environment and Safety of the Department;
• Promote collaboration with the various directorates of ISQ, as well as potentiate new external partnerships.

Profile:

• Higher education in engineering, preferably in the electrotechnical and/or electronic area, and related;
• Minimum experience of 5 years in team management;
• Experience in elaboration, management and execution of projects;
• Knowledge in the area of Industrial automation;
• Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and electrical safety;
• Knowledge of metrology management processes and systems, particularly in the electrical field;
• Knowledge of NP EN 17025 ;
• Knowledge of Profit and Loss Statement (P&L) management;
• Strong leadership and decision making skills;
• Strong orientation for results;
• Commercial proactivity;
• Good knowledge of English and Spanish;
• Availability for national and international travel;
• Driving licence.
