MA Research Fellowship

A call is open for the attribution of a Master Research fellowship under the scope of the research project “Western Sephardic Diaspora Roadmap”, funded by a private international institution.

Work plan: The fellow will work under the following tasks under the scientific orientation of the project coordinator, Carla Vieira:

• Survey of data for archival collections and published primary sources databases;

• Production of descriptions of archival collections;

• Support in contacting archives and libraries;

• Support in the project communication, namely in the management of social media;

• Support in the maintenance and updating of the project website and in the analysis of collected data;

• Support the import and export data from and to the partner project platforms;

• Support in the edition of a thematic volume and in the organization of the project's final workshop;

• Support in the dissemination of the project outputs, through presentations at scientific meetings and publications.

The fellowship amount corresponds to €1.104.64, paid monthly and by bank transfer, according to the FCT, I.P. stipends values in Portugal: http://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores .

To this amount is added the social security scheme for grant recipients – the Voluntary Social Insurance corresponding to the 1st scale of earnings mentioned in Article 36 of Decree-Law 40/90, of 1 February, if the candidate chooses it, as well as the personal accident insurance.

The fellowship will have a duration of 12 months, eventually renewable for an additional period of 12 months.
