Duration of the contract: from 2023-06-16 to 2024-06-15 eventually renewable.

Job description:
Work Area: Power Systems - Electric Vehicles charging management
Project overview: Development of algorithms and software for electric vehicles charging management.
Objectives: Development of optimization modules for electric vehicles charging; Development of mathematical models for the representation of electric vehicles and other flexible loads; Software integration with proprietary platforms for electric vehicles charging management.
Academic Qualifications: Degree in electrical and computer engineering or computer science or informatics or similar.
Minimum profile required: Basic knowledge about optimization methods. Programming skills (Python, C, C++, etc.).
Preference factors: Advanced knowledge in electric power systems. Experience with software development for electrical grid operation. Fluency in English and Portuguese (spoken and written). Experience with the development of APIs.
Funding Entity: funded by National Funds through FCT - Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P., project (reference LA/P/0063/2020
Type of contract: fixed-term contract
The hiring shall be governed by what is stipulated in the legislation in force regarding fixed individual employment contracts and by INESC TEC norms.
Selection criteria: The selection of the candidates will be based on the following criteria, in descending order of consideration:
a) Relevant Curriculum in the concerned field of this tender
b) Proven experience.
