Job description:

Work Area: Machine Learning and Data Mining
Project overview: Execution of project activities and knowledge enhancement, preparation of R&D project applications, scientific production oriented to international journals and conferences, intervention in the scientific and professional communities, as well as participation in scientific and technological dissemination initiatives, particularly in the area of Computer Science.
Objectives: Participate in the specifications for a performance evaluation system in the Footwear Industry;;
Develop advanced Machine Learning models of behavior; ;
Participate in the integration of models developed in a relevant environment.;

Academic Qualifications: Master on Informatics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum profile required: Relevant programming experience. Fluency in English, spoken and written.
Preference factors: Previous participation in R&D projects. Being able to use portuguese as a study language is important. Knowledge of Python and development tools (e.g. GIT).

Funding Entity: funded by IAPMEI co-financed by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology I.P. (PIDDAC) and by the funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through Operational Agenda for Competitiveness Factors Programme (POFC), project (reference 66
Type of contract: Uncertain term contract
The hiring shall be governed by what is stipulated in the legislation in force regarding fixed individual employment contracts and by INESC TEC norms.
