Curriculum Evaluation, which will focus on the candidate's merits, in which the following factors will be considered, with the indicated weights, and in which all criteria will be evaluated by the jury on a scale of 0-10:

F1: Academic training - 40%

F1a) Master's Degree Area or Master's Thesis theme - 50% (Master's degree/Thesis theme in Informatics Engineering, Electrotechnical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering – 10 points, Master's degree/Thesis theme in related field – 5 points)

F1b) Final MSc Degree average grade (Masters or Integrated Masters) - 50%

F2: Scientific Publications in Indexed Journals and Conferences - 20%

F3: Previous experience in research work - 20%

F4: Motivation Letter - 20%

The candidate's curricular assessment (CA) classification will be obtained by the formula CA = 0.4*F1 + 0.2*F2 + 0.2*F3 + 0.2*F4, where: F1 = 0.5*F1a + 0.5*F1b; F3= 0.7*F3a + 0.3*F3b

The four best ranked candidates will be selected for interview. In the selection interview, topics related to the work plan, previous experience, motivation and CV of the candidate will be discussed.

The final evaluation (FE) results from the weighted sum obtained in the Curricular Assessment (CA) and Selection Interview (SI) classifications, as follows: FE = 75% CA + 25% SI
