The International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory – INL, located in Braga, Portugal is recruiting 2 highly qualified Researchers and Engineers
This call aims to provide an opportunity for talented and motivated Engineers, from all over the world and all nationalities to carry out ground-breaking work at INL in a highly stimulating and multicultural environment and will be developed within the scope of the Be.Neutral Agenda funded by the Portuguese Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).
Be.Neutral Agenda
This Agenda is designed for the cities and aims at accelerating, by 2025, the development and industrialization of various mobility products, connectivity devices and a new generation of interoperable service platforms aimed at promoting carbon neutrality.
Projects & Job Opportunities
Project - Conetividade de 2Rodas, Conetividade de 4Rodas, Conectividade para autocarro (2-Wheel Connectivity, 4-Wheel Connectivity, Bus Connectivity)
This project aims at working in BEN light shared electric vehicle ID solution based on a system developed around a magnetic field sensor, with the objective of implementing virtual delivery/sharing points and development of a collision detection solution, when using BEN, using custom MEMS accelerometers. The consortium's objective is to develop its own technological solutions for challenges related to asset management, which include: i) the identification of electric vehicles at a sharing point, ii) the limitation of the area of use of vehicles using virtual delimiters and iii) the collection of data that indicate behaviours dangerous by the user that put the asset and the user at risk. The solutions will be developed based on two highly mature nanotechnologies (magnetoresistive sensors and MEMS accelerometers) that are produced from scratch at the INL, providing complete freedom to customize the devices and optimize them according to the needs of the project.
RRP.03.07.11.2 - Research Engineer - Nano and Microfabrication of Hybrid MEMS/Spintronic Devices
RRP.03.07.13.1 - Junior Research Fellow – Development of hybrid acceleration sensors (MEMS and thin film-based) for automotive connectivity applications
