Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica (iBET), Oeiras, Portugal, has an open position for a research fellowship in the field of Biotechnology available within the project Streamlined AAV Manufacturing Ref.STREAM2024, financed by iBET internal funds.

• Academic degree - Master in Biotechnology or Biochemistry
• Demonstrated experience in animal cell culture.
• Experience in molecular biology.
• Experience in assays such as PCR, SDS-PAGE, and western blotting.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Good knowledge of English.

Eligibility criteria

Applications will be accepted from 28 of February until 13 of March 2024.

Applications must be formalized with Curriculum Vitae (CV) and diploma certificate. If the degree or diploma has been granted by a foreign higher education institution, it must comply with the provisions of Portuguese Decree-Law 341/2007 of October 12, and any formalities established therein must be completed by the end of the deadline for the application.

Selection process

The selection of the candidates will be made according to the following:

- Curriculum vitae (CV) assessment based on admission requirements.

- Interviews will be conducted only when necessary to differentiate candidates with similar academic qualifications; in this case, the rating will be based on a 60% assessment of the CV and a 40% interview.

 

Applicants who do not meet the above admission requirements will not be eligible.
