Summary: Three (3) research positions for Research Initiation Grants (“Bolsa de Iniciação à Investigação”) is open at Instituto de Telecomunicações, in the scope of several projects running in the group Networks Architectures and Protocols. The work for this position is in the area of communications networks, including networks for smart cities, beyond 5G, vehicular, unmanned aerial vehicles, and sensing networks, and its services.

Group: Networks Architectures and Protocols – Av

Work Objectives: Design, implement and evaluate communication networks communications networks, including networks for smart cities, beyond 5G, vehicular, unmanned aerial vehicles, and sensing networks, and its services. The specific subject will be discussed with the candidate.

Place of work: The work will be developed at the premises of Instituto de Telecomunicações at University of Aveiro, under the supervision of Prof. Susana Sargento.

Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of renewal. This type of scholarship has a maximum duration of 1 year. Start date: January 2022 or soon thereafter.
