Institute of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine in Warsaw, Poland, offers a Young Doctor (postdoctoral) position in the Medical Research Agency CAR-NET project “Polish Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell Network”.

CAR-T cell therapy is the most advanced personalized therapy used in hematooncology, where a patient's T cells are changed in the laboratory so they will attack cancer cells. For the project called "Polish Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell Network", financed by the Medical Research Agency and aimed at developing the first Polish CAR-T therapy, we search for a bioinformatics specialist whose main task will be the analysis of transcriptional and epigenetic evolution of CAR-T at the level of single cells, allowing the identification molecular mechanisms involved in the response and resistance to CAR-T therapy.


Key responsibilities include:
  • Quality control of NGS sequencing samples.
  • Development of bioinformatic pipelines for single cell transcriptomics and epigenetic profiling (scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq).
  • Optimization of high-throughput data analysis pipelines using HPC and/or cloud computing.
  • Statistical analysis of single-cell sequencing data.
  • Data visualization and preparation of reports.
  • Integration of NGS data with other omics and clinical data.
  • Collaboration with other team members / consortium.
  • Preparation of the publications.
