Applications are invited from those who fulfil the statutory requirements specified in the Higher Education Act from 20th July 2018 (Dz. U. z 2018 r., poz. 1668) and the statutes of the University of Wroclaw.

Requirements:

1. Doctoral degree in chemical sciences.

2. Previous experience as a university professor at a Polish higher education or research institution and / or an equivalent position at a foreign higher educational institution or research institution and / or as a head of a research group at a Polish or foreign higher educational or research institution.

3. Significant scientific achievements in the broad field of optical molecular spectroscopy, including its analytical aspects, documented by:

  • Publications in recognized international journals
  • Presentations at conferences
  • International cooperation and participation in grants or research projects.

4. Fluent knowledge of Polish.

5. Knowledge of English (spoken and written) sufficient to conduct classes inthis language.

6. Scientific recognition documented by:

  • high values of the index of scientific research impact (h-index) and other bibliometric parameters
  • serving as a reviewer in doctoral proceedings or an equivalent function in foreign doctoral proceedings and performing reviews of research grants or serving as an editor in international scientific journals.

7. Teaching experience in conducting lectures and classes in the broad field of molecular spectroscopy, including the creation of original teaching proposals. An additional advantage will be experience in teaching in the field of quantum chemistry or molecular modeling or statistical thermodynamics or applications of computer science in chemistry.

8. Organizational experience documented by:

  • contributing to the organization of scientific conferences or managing research projects or organizing work in research consortiums
  • performing other management functions related to research or teaching activities.

  • Self-presentation (information about scientific, teaching, organizational, and other achievements).
  • List of scientific publications in the period no longer than the last 10 years.
  • Electronic versions of two of the most important publications which the applicant considers to be representative of his/her scientific output, or an explanation of their absence.
  • An application for employment addressed to the Rector.
  • A statement in connection with Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018. The Law on Higher Education and Science (download Declaration - Article 113 ).
