University Assistant Professor (R1 researcher) - dyscypline biology

Institute of Biology and Biotechnology at the College of Natural Sciences, University of Rzeszow seeks candidates to fill the position of R1 academic researcher in the discipline of biology

The title of M.Sc.is mandatory. The duties and responsibilities of the applicant will include, however are not limited to: teaching, research, taking care of students of the Ist and IInd stage as well as administrative tasks. It is expected that successful candidate will involve in strategic research areas already conducted at the Department of Biotechnology and will be able to establish his/her own independency in future.

We are looking for applicants with a strong motivation, scientific publication record is not a must, however will be treated as a plus (only JCR list). For research and teaching purposes knowledge of the Polish language is mandatory at the level guaranteeing very good communication both oral and written, the same requirement stands for English. Both language skills and competences can be checked during interview with selected candidates.

(1) cover letter directed to UR Rector; (2) Master of Science diploma copy certified for authenticity (3) up-to-date CV with questionnaire (4) detailed publication record, if applicable, together with bibliographic information (impact factor, number of citations) as well as other activities (project involvement and role, patents if any, scientific stays (long term, short term), rewards etc. (5) certificate confirming ability to work with animals and knowledge regarding procedure planning, if applicable (6) certificate of completion of teaching course, if any (7) candidate statement that UR will be a primary working place (8) signed consent for personal data processing by UR for the purpose of recruitment process for the given position in accordance with EU regulations (Polish version can be obtained on request)
