Job description: Specialist - Head of Microbiology Section.

Scope of tasks performed for this post :

  • Organization and implementation of research and service work on the activities of the Microbiology Section in the Analytical Laboratory.
  • Validation of microbiological testing methods in fertilizer products.
  • Performing microbiological tests in fertilizer products - accredited and included in the management system in accordance with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.
  • Perform microbiological tests in raw materials and plant products.

    Master Degree or equivalent

    Skills/Qualifications
  • Higher education in microbiology or biotechnology. Ph.D. degree in the discipline of biological sciences is welcome.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an accredited laboratory or research unit.
  • Authorship or co-authorship in scientific journals from the JCR database.
  • Knowledge of working with Class I and Class II bacterial strains.
  • Perform microbiological analyses based on standards and specifications - validation and verification of test methods.
  • Confirmation of the validity of results for accredited microbiological tests.
  • Experience in the introduction of scientific research.
  • Availability, ability to work in a team, self-reliance.
  • Knowledge of the principles of Good Laboratory Practice and/or management system according to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02.
