Information about Łukasiewicz – ICSO “Blachownia”

Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Heavy Organic Synthesis “Blachownia” has experience in activities for the chemical industry since 1952. The research field of the Institute include scientific research and research and development works on chemical processes, in particular in the field of chemistry and organic technology. It also provides research, analytical, advisory and design services. Since April 2019 Institute is included into the Łukasiewicz Research Network – the third largest research network in Europe.

The Institute works in the areas of:

• pressure processes;
• catalytic processes;
• technology of specialized products for various industries;
• bioeconomy;
• advanced materials (including polymer ones)
• circular economy;
• analytics and measurements;
• engineering and technical;

Expected scope of duties at the workplace:

• Participation in scientific and development activities;

• Participation in the implementation and acquisition of projects;
• Participation in introducing the results of scientific research or development work into practice, preparation of conclusions, analysis of research results;
• Participation in the organizational work of the Institute related to the conducted scientific research or development works;

• Participation in planning and conducting chemical syntheses;
• Participation in the development of technology;
• Testing and assessment of product properties.
