Offer Description
The proposed position of research and teaching assistant professor will include research on computer-generated holography realised with liquid-crystal-on-silicon spatial light modulators. The candidate is expected to have a very good knowledge of diffractive optics, Fourier optics, both theoretical and practical knowledge in computer-generated holography, as well as experience with generation of holographic data. Experience in the collection and analysis of experimental data is essential. The candidate should also have documented scientific achievements. The aim of the research associated with the job will be to study the potential of improving holographic images obtained with computer-generated holography e.g. by reducing the visibility of image duplicated and increasing the diffractive efficiency of holographic projection. Besides scientific research, the responsibilities include supervising diploma theses, as well as giving lectures, tutorials, and laboratories for students in Polish and English. |
