Research Subject - Manufacturing and testing of mechanical properties and structure of Ti, Cu, Ag alloys

Expectations - practical experience in conducting material research in the field of characterization of the structure and mechanical properties. Practical knowledge of research techniques: light, electron microscopy EDS, XRD. Advanced knowledge of methods for measuring mechanical properties, including hardness, microhardness, static tensile/ compression test - the ability to independently conduct experiments from the stage of preparation and processing of the material to the evaluation and analysis of the results. Experience in shaping the microstructure of metallic materials aimed at optimizing selected properties (plasticity, strength). Very good knowledge of non-destructive testing (e.g. acoustic testing, eddy currents, optical etc.). Knowledge of methods of checking / recording the state of deformation (e.g. strain gauge measurements) will be an additional advantage. Fluency in written and spoken polish language.
