Offer Description

Director of Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital Research Institute announces a competition for a scientific position: professor of the institute with simultaneous provision of medical services in the Department of Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology and Endometriosis Treatment - scientific discipline - medical sciences.

The purpose of the competition is to fill the position of scientific professor of the institute with simultaneous provision of medical services in the Department of Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology and Endometriosis Treatment on a full-time basis. The candidate should have a scientific title of professor or a postdoctoral degree, a medical degree, a specialization in accordance with the specifics of the clinic, knowledge of the English language. In connection with the simultaneous scientific function within the research institute, it is necessary for the candidate, in addition to the above requirements, to have scientific achievements documented by publications.

Candidates are asked to submit the following documents:

1. Application addressed to the Director of the Institute for employment as scientific professor of the institute in the Department of Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology and Endometriosis Treatment.        

2. Certified copies of documents confirming professional qualifications (diploma, degree, references).

3. Certified copies of documents confirming the academic title held.

4. Current curriculum vitae including the course of professional work and scientific career (including participation in the implementation of scientific research projects).

5. A list of publications.

6. Bibliometric evaluation of the published scientific output of the last 5 years including Hirsch index, carried out and confirmed by the Scientific Library of the PMMHRI.

7. Number and list of citations published in impacted journals in the last 5 years.

8. Plans for scientific development, taking into account applying for research funds from external sources (with particular emphasis on EU funds).

9. A statement of the candidate's knowledge of the English language.

10. Statement of consent to process personal data for recruitment purposes.

The application should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked " Recruitment for the position of scientific professor in the Department of Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology and Endometriosis Treatment" with your name, mailing address and contact telephone number within the period from 15.04.2024 to 02.05.2024 until 15.30.

The competition will be decided on 06.05.2024 at 10.00 a.m. in the didactic room No. 1 in the gynecology and obstetrics building of the PMMHRI in Łódź.
