Our announcement is aimed at a person who will conduct model studies of the physical processes in the ocean: circulation, waves and ice cover, in particular in the marginal zone of sea ice.

Tasks of the person employed at the position:

• conducting research on modeling water circulation, waves, and ice cover that are the object of scientific interest of the Department,

• improvement of the methodology used in research,

• publishing research results and achievements in specialized journals in the Journal Citation Report (JCR) database,

• active search for new forms of research funding in the form of research grants,

• supervising interns and doctoral students,

• presenting research results at national and international conferences

.
