Offer Description

A postdoctoral scholar will be responsible for performing animal experiements, molecular biology and immunohistochemical analyses. She/he will participate in
all experiments, data collection, and preparation of manuscripts.

Skills/Qualifications

1) PhD in Biological Sciences, Medical Sciences or Health Sciences
2) achievements and scientific activity documented (publications, conference presentations, completed scientific internships, honors, scholarships);
3) theoretical and practical expertise of neurobiology research
4) knowledge of nervous system physiology, molecular and cellular biology
5) practical knowledge of basic laboratory methods/techniques utilized in biology, molecular biology, and related sciences (gene and protein expression analysis methods such as nucleic acid separation, qRT-PCR, Western blot, immunohistochemistry methods, microscopic techniques, statistical analysis).
6) high motivation for scientific activity, reliant on autonomous research effort, goal formulation, planning and carrying out experiments, and analyzing outcomes
7) knowledge of research procedures in the fields of neurobiology and behavioral science;
8) experience in working with laboratory animals.

Experience with in vitro animal cell culture or large-scale gene/protein expression analysis will be advantageous.
