Offer Description

1) conducting research using molecular biology techniques (DNA and RNA isolation, protein lysates, PCR, QRT-PCR, western blot, ELISA, electrophoresis), microscopic techniques, immunocytochemical and immunohistochemical techniques;
 2) analysis, documentation and presenting results of experiments and performing statistical calculations;
3) preparing scientific publications;

Skills/Qualifications

1) PhD degree in natural or medical sciences;
2) ability to independently plan and conduct research experiments;
3) experience in implementing and managing the budget of scientific projects, e.g. NCN grants;
4) practical experience in conducting research using molecular biology techniques (e.g. isolation of DNA, RNA, protein lysates, PCR, QRT-PCR, Western blot, ELISA, electrophoresis) and immunocytochemistry techniques;
5) experience in performing research using experimental animals, confirmed by permission to participate in procedures on animals;
6) (practical) knowledge of statistical analysis and image analysis tools;
7) (practical) knowledge of microscopy techniques (including confocal and survival microscopy);
8) experience in conducting cell cultures (including primary cultures);
9) ability to isolate proteins and nucleic acids from cell cultures and tissues;
10) ability to prepare manuscripts for publication;
