POST-DOCTORAL researcher

THE TASKS OF THE CANDIDATE:

• The researcher will be involved in designing and conducting of experiments allowing to determine the influence of the nuclear envelope architecture on the ability of a neoplastic cell to spread and metastasize.
• Analyzing the obtained results, including statistical calculations, interpreting the obtained results, and preparing them in the form of presentations for seminars, scientific announcements for conferences and scientific publications.
• Cooperation with international project partners.

WE EXPECT FROM THE CANDIDATE:

• The employee will be employed in accordance with the documentation available in the announcement of the SONATA 16 - LINK ,
• Doctoral degree in the field of medicine, biotechnology, cell biology, bioengineering, physics or similar, obtained not earlier than 7 years before the year of employment in the project (This period may be extended in accordance with the guidelines of the National Science Center),
• Preferred experience in the field of basic methods of molecular biology (Western blot, RNA / DNA isolation, RNAi, methods of transfection, cell isolation), mammalian tissue cultures (2D and 3D cultures), immunostaining techniques. fluorescence microscopy (widefield and confocal), quantitative analysis of the microscopic image,
• Experience in the field of cell culture in flow, mechanobiology or bioengineering methods will be an additional advantage,
• Excellent spoken and written English (preferred levels C1-C2),
• Scientific achievements documented by publications from the JCR list,
• Two letters of recommendation,
• Good interpersonal skills, learning skills and teamwork.

• Remuneration in the amount of PLN 120,000 gross / year for a period of 28 months (with an option to extend it by 2 months),
