POST-DOC in Organic Chemistry Division

Profile of candidates/requirements:

1. PhD degree in Chemistry or related sciences approved or obtained within the past 5 years.

2. Experience in organic synthesis and in organic materials; in particular experience with heterocyclic compounds and/or paramagnetic and liquid crystals materials.

3. Skills and experience in conducting physical-organic research with particular emphasis on spectroscopic techniques (NMR, UV-vis), electrochemistry, thermal characterization.

4. Ability to conduct independent research and full analysis of the obtained materials.

5. Documented scientific achievements in the area of organic chemistry or organic materials chemistry.

6. Proficiency in spoken and written English;

7. Teamwork skills, enthusiasm and high motivation to expand knowledge.

Required documents:

1. A cover letter.

2. CV with a list of scientific achievements, scholarships, awards and scientific experience acquired during previous work, workshops, scientific training, and participation in research projects.

3. A full list of publications including citation number (without self-citations) and H-index.

4. A copy of the diploma or official document confirming the approval or obtaining PhD.

5. At least two letters of recommendation from previous supervisors.
