Responsibilities:

-Laboratory work related to the implementation of a research project OPUS-LAP (UMO-2020/39/I/ST5/00597) “Organic chromophores on ferromagnets illuminated: photochemical and magnetic study”

-Task mainly oriented on characterization of the molecular self-assembled monolayers on the ferromagnetic (FM) substrates (absorption, XPS, FTIR) and description of emission properties and ultrafast time-resolved absorption measurements

-Visits to the German partner of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf project in Dresden

- Everyday duties concerning the organization of the laboratory work.

-Presentation of the obtained results. Participation in preparation of the papers

Required qualifications:

  • MSc degree in chemistry, physics or materials science
  • Knowledge of photochemistry and spectroscopic techniques (absorption, emission, time-resolved measurements)
  • Experience in conducting research works confirmed by publication in a journal and active participation in conferences will be an additional advantage
  • Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to write and edit scientific texts
  • High motivation for further development and the ability to work in a team
  • . Readiness to travel abroad (conferences, training, conducting experiments )
