The competition is open to persons who meet the requirements of Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018. Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended.).

Skills/Qualifications
- medical degree,
- - license to practice medicine,
- - specialisation in clinical oncology,
- - specialisation in internal medicine,
- - interest in conducting scientific research,
- - teaching experience of min. 5 years,
- - academic achievements - publications with IF scores or with total ministerial scores > 100,
- knowledge of the English language to the extent that allows you to conduct classes with students,
- in the case of foreigners, knowledge of the Polish language in speech and writing is required.
Specific Requirements
- statement of consent to process the personal data,
- a statement declaring that if the applicant wins the competition, the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice will be the primary place of employment , according to the Law on Higher Education and Science,
- statement of:
- having full legal capacity,
- enjoying full public rights,
- not being convicted of an intentional crime or intentional fiscal offence by a valid sentence,
- not being punished with a disciplinary penalty referred to in Article 276(1)(7) and (8) of the Law on Higher Education and Science;

by 14.02.2024 at 15:30 (the date of receipt of the documents is decisive)
to the Chancellery of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, 15 Poniatowskiego Street, room 11, ground floor, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
