The Vice Rector for Student Affairs at the Szczecin Maritime University, with the approval of the Rector of the Szczecin Maritime University, announces a competition for the position of assistant in the teaching staff at the Physical Education and Sports Department (1 full-time position)

Skills/Qualifications

Master’s degree in Physical Education (preferably from the Academy of Physical Education), Foreign nationals: Polish language proficiency at the B1 level is required.


Specific Requirements

 

  • At least 4 years of teaching experience (experience at any level of education is welcome).
  • Practical knowledge of remote learning platforms (MS Teams, Moodle).
  • Documented certifications, including at least a swimming and fitness instructor certification.
  • High availability and flexibility (teaching classes in both full-time and part-time/weekend programs). 
  • English proficiency at a minimum B2 level
  • CV
  • copies of diploma transcripts confirming qualifications

  • Information from the National Criminal Register (Criminal Records and Juvenile Records)

Document submission period: July 28, 2026 – August 03, 2026

The deadline for submitting documents is August 03, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. 

Documents should be submitted to the mailbox of the Department of Physical Education and Sports No. 27—1-2 Wały Chrobrego Street, on the ground floor next to the Administrative and and Logistics Department (a certified translation is required for foreign nationals), mailed to: Physical Education and Sports Department, ul. Wały Chrobrego 1-2, 70-500 Szczecin, or emailed to: [email protected]

Additional comments

The results of the competition will be announced on August 14, 2026, on the University’s website.

The Szczecin Maritime University reserves the right to cancel or revoke the competition at the discretion of the Rector of the University without providing a reason. 

The Szczecin Maritime University reserves the right to invite only selected candidates for an interview between August 10, 2026, and August 12, 2026 (at the SWFiS campus or remotely).

The outcome of the competition does not guarantee employment at the Szczecin Maritime University. The final decision is made by the Rector of the Szczecin Maritime University after reviewing the recommendation of the Selection Committee.
