announces a competition for the position of an Instructor in the group of teaching staff at the Centre of the Physical Culture UMCS

The competition may be entered by individuals who meet the requirements specified in the Act on Higher Education and Science of July 20, 2018 (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2021, item 478) and in the UMCS Statute of May 29, 2019, as amended.

  • ELIGIBLE CRITERIA FOR THE COMPETITION:
  • - a master’s degree in physical education; - teaching aptitude, confirmed by an appropriate opinion; - coaching or instructing qualifications in swimming, fitness and other appropriate forms of exercise - knowledge of the modern language, including sports terminology at a minimum level of B1

  • THE APPLICATION FOR THE COMPETITION SHOULD INCLUDE:
    • an application requesting employment addressed to the Rector of UMCS;
    • a copy of the master's diploma
    • a personal questionnaire and curriculum vitae or CV
    • list of scientific, teaching and organizational achievements
    • a declaration of compliance with the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act on Higher Education and Science of July 20, 2018 (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2021, item 478)
    • a candidate's declaration that UMCS will be their primary workplace;
    • a candidate's declaration that they agree to the processing of personal data in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);

    - references, opinion confirming candidate’s sufficient teaching aptitude. THE CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

    • full-time employment under a fixed-term employment contract from 1 March 2022 to

    The deadline for submitting documents is – February 24, 2022.The competition will be adjudicated no later than February 25, 2022.

    The university does not provide apartment.The settlement of the competition does not result in establishing an employment relationship. The decision on employment is made by the Rector.
