„” financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. The main task includes developing emitters based on two-dimensional materials, defect centers, and quantum dots and an open cavity platform for these emitters operating in the visible spectral range.

We aim to understand the fundamental physical properties of the emitters, their functionalization via cavity coupling, and subsequent coherent-nonlinear spectroscopic analysis of the suitability of such a system for implementation in the emerging quantum technologies.

The position is primarily offered to candidates who are willing to prepare and defend a PhD thesis in physics based on their work in the project. apply for admission to the Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences at the University of Warsaw ( this year!).

Candidates holding a PhD degree are also welcome to apply, the respective tasks will be accordingly

adjusted allowing for further scientific development.

The candidate will work in a newly constructed complex of modern laboratories. Optical experiments will be carried out mainly in the Laboratory of Ultrafast MagnetoSpectroscopy (LUMS) localized in the main Physics Department building, while cleanroom processing will take place in the newly established cleanrooms in the Centre of New Technologies of the University of Warsaw, located just next to the main Physics Department building.

We offer attractive working conditions in state-of-the-art laboratories and in a young research team.
