Łukasiewicz Research Network – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development is a Research Institute within the Łukasiewicz Research Network. It focuses on development of new technologies, resulting from basic and applied research, which, in turn, serves as a basis for innovative solutions for the industry. With high-class specialists and state-of-the-art infrastructure, we provide capacity for the most advanced research. Our Institute consists of three research centers – Life Sciences & Biotechnology Center, Materials Science & Engineering Center and Center for Population Diagnostics,  with access to specialized core laboratories – a combination, which allows to carry out both, scientific research and pilot studies for the industry in a comprehensive manner.

 

Currently we are looking for an outstanding candidate:

Executive Search Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with the management of PORT Łukasiewicz to understand current and future needs related to the development of the research institute;

• Identifying key competencies, skills, and experience required to effectively achieve the research goals of the institute;

• Developing and implementing recruitment strategies tailored to the specifics of the field, such as science, technology, or innovative projects;

• Actively seeking and identifying experts, scientists, and leaders who can contribute to the development of PORT Łukasiewicz;

• Conducting qualification interviews with potential candidates, assessing their scientific competence, research experience, and leadership abilities;

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with key figures in the scientific community, research institutions, and universities;

• Close collaboration with the HR team of PORT Łukasiewicz in adapting recruitment processes to the specificities of the research institute;

• Reporting progress and recommendations to management regarding talent search strategies.

• Developing promotional activities to increase the visibility of PORT Łukasiewicz as an attractive employer in the scientific community;

• Monitoring the latest trends in the field, as well as in the recruitment of scientists, to adjust talent search strategies;

• Coordinating and managing the recruitment process from identifying needs to the final stage of employment;

• Building and coordinating team efforts to effectively achieve recruitment goals.

Our requirements:

• Experience in Executive Search, preferably with knowledge of the research industry;

• Understanding of the specifics of the scientific field and the ability to understand the needs and expectations of the Institute;

• English language proficiency at least at level C1;

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key figures in the scientific community;

• Experience in candidate sourcing through Direct Search method;

• Goal-oriented mindset, self-reliance, and good self-organization skills;

• Proficiency in MS Office suite;

• Proactive approach and initiative in candidate sourcing;

• High level of interpersonal skills;

• Ability to work in a team.
