COMPETITION
FOR THE POSITION OF AN ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
(in the research and teaching group – field: political science and administration)
AT THE DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE
AND INTERNATIONAL STUDIES
(Department of Political Systems)
The candidate should meet the conditions set out in the Law on Higher Education and Science of 10 March 2023 (Journal of Laws 2023, item 742, as amended) and in the UW Statute (Resolution No. 443 of the UW Senate of 26 June 2019 on the adoption of the UW Statute, Monitor UW of 2019, item 190).
Conditions of the competition:
 doctoral degree in social sciences (humanities);
 experience in the preparation and implementation of scientific and educational projects – manager;
 teaching experience;
 experience in organisational activities for the university;
 research interests, including publications related to the political system of the Republic of Poland, in particular the constitutional discourse and constitutional works, constitutional foundations of civil society in Poland, legal and political processes of building the Polish constitutional order, civic participation;
 experience in cooperation with external stakeholders;
 involvement in popularising science will be an additional advantage.
Tasks:
 conducting didactic classes;
 publishing papers in journals and publications in the field of political science and administration;
 participating in organisational activities conducted in the Department and at the Faculty;
 obtaining and conducting research grants funded by Polish and international sources and publishing the results;
 organising and participating in scientific conferences and seminars in Poland and abroad;
 establishing and conducting scientific collaboration with Polish and foreign centres,
 participation in scientific conferences.

The competition is the first stage of the procedure for hiring for the position of an academic teacher, as specified in the UW Statutes, and its positive outcome constitutes a basis for further proceedings.
The applicants will be notified by email of the results of the competition.
The documents should be submitted by regular mail or in person at the Dean's Office of the Department, Auditorium Building, ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28, pok. [room] 216 by 27.03.2024. The Competition will be resolved by 30.04.2024.

17. You have the right to access your data and the right to rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, the right to submit an objection, the right to revoke your consent at any time.
18. You also have a right to file a complaint with the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data.
