• PhD and 2 years of experience in the research and development sector or higher education and 3 years of experience in the research and development sector, including participation in the implementation of research projects - preferred doctoral degree in materials engineering obtained not earlier than 7 years from the date of publication of the notice;

• Knowledge of issues related to powder metallurgy and materials mechanics, in particular the basics of fracture mechanics;

• Experience in materials sintering technologies, including metal-ceramic composite materials;

• Experience in conducting experimental research: strength tests (uniaxial tensile and compression, Brazilian, other) and microstructural tests (scanning and transmission electron microscopy);

• Publications in renowned international journals (minimum 5 scientific publications from IF);

• Documented participation in national projects devoted to the production of advanced materials;

• Experience in laboratory work: knowledge of basic laboratory preparation, experience in measurement methodology;

• Ability to work in a team;

• Good command of spoken and written English;

• Knowledge of MS Office, Origin, RStudio;

• Knowledge of CLEMEX dedicated TV image analysis software is welcome;

• Ability to organize both own work and cooperation in a team;

• Accuracy, diligence and independence.
