Qualification requirements :

 

• Master's degree in nursing
• active license to practice as a nurse
• minimum one year of work experience as a nurse (in health care – directly over the care provider)
• good knowledge of English
• good knowledge of basic computer programs

• in the case of foreigners, knowledge of the Polish language in speech and writing is required.

It will be an additional advantage:

• experience in scientific work and scientific achievements in the field of nursing

Specific Requirements

Required documents :

• a written declaration of will  to participate in the competition, addressed to the Rector,
• a signed CV with a description of professional qualifications and the course of previous employment  (if applicable), together with the clause regarding consent to the processing of personal data,
• personal questionnaire for the person applying for employment,
• copies of documents confirming education and professional qualifications, in particular: higher education diploma, license to practice as a nurse, certificate of recognition of a foreign diploma as equivalent to a Polish diploma (if applicable),
• other documents confirming your qualifications (a list of publications with IF scores, ministerial scores, certificates held, etc.)

Required statements :

• statement of consent to process the personal data,
• a statement declaring that if the applicant wins the competition, the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice will be the primary place of employment , according to the Law on Higher Education and Science,
• statement of:

• having full legal capacity,
• enjoying full public rights,
• not being convicted of an intentional crime or intentional fiscal offence by a valid sentence,
• not being punished  with a disciplinary penalty referred to in Article 276(1)(7) and (8) of the Law on Higher Education and Science;

Personal data is processed for the purpose of recruitment (competition) pursuant to Article 22[1] § 1, 2, 4 and 5 of the Labour Code and Article 32 (2) (concerning competitions for managerial functions) and Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018. The University reserves the right not to adjudicate the competition without giving any reason.

The result of the competition is not tantamount to the employment of the candidate, but constitutes a recommendation in this respect to the Rector. The final decision on employment is made by the Rector.
