The competition may be entered by candidates who meet the requirements stipulated in the Act of 2018, July 20, the Law on Higher Education and the Statute of Lodz University of Technology.

The candidates should hold the academic title of habilitated doctor in the area of economic. They should possess significant academic achievements, experience in teaching at the academic level, the proper organizational and international experience.

In particular the candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Significant research achievements in the area of production engineering or related to management and quality sciences. Research papers with Impact Factor are preferred.

• Knowledge of engineering design and mechanical engineering, including dissertation supervision

• Possess experience in teaching at institutions of higher education in English, including dissertation supervision and work with international students.

• be experienced in carrying out research tasks and projects as well as research and scientific internships in foreign academic centers.

• be fluent in English language, French will be also welcome

Candidates entering the competition must submit the following documents:

• a job application letter directed to the Rector of the Lodz University of Technology

• a personal questionnaire

• summary of professional accomplishments describing the up-to-date scientific, teaching and organizational activities

• a list of publications divided into the period before and after the recent promotion and the number of points in accordance with the current index of academic journals provided by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

• number of quotations without self-according to Web of Science database and Google Scholar

• a copy of a document confirming appointment for the leader investigator of a grant in case of managing grants financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education or National Science Center, National Centre for Research and Development, EU

• a copy of a habilitation

• certificate of Ph.D degree in the case of Polish academics procedures (both closed and open) where the candidate has been a supervisor
