 the post of associate professor  and teacher at the Faculty of Humanities Department of Society and Technology Studies in the discipline: Sociology;  teaching classes for students, actively participating in research projects and scientific conferences; fixed-term contract, not longer than 5 years in total.

Skills/Qualifications
  • habilitated doctor in the discipline the discipline of sociology or appropriate according to the previous classification of fields and disciplines,
  • scientific achievements including at least a series of thematically related scientific publications published in scientific journals or a scientific monograph or chapters in books, taken into account in the scientific evaluation,
  • experience in research projects (managing research projects or scientific teams or conducting tasks as a team member),
  • experience in academic level teaching, including lectures and seminars,
  • substantial scientific activities in collaboration with other universities or research institution, especially international ones,
  • active participation in national and international scientific conferences,
  • documented knowledge of English at least at B-2 level, within the meaning of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (candidates who are not Polish citizens should present a certificate of at least C-1 level).

    knowledge of sociological issues related to the social dimension of technology - preference will be given to candidates:

  • having participation in research projects, concerning the social dimension of technology,
  • are authors of publications in the field of relations between society and technology,

    5) a short research proposal - a 3-5 page short description of a research project (including a research problem, objectives, research methods and their expected results), which the candidate may submit in the form of a grant application and implement as part of future employment at WH AGH.
