Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology
Lublin University of Technology
announces open competition for the associate professor
at the Department of Applied Computer Science

Documents required:

• written application for the competition and covering letter,
• CV,
• personal questionnaire (see the attached pdf file),
• copies of the diplomas,
• copies of the other documents certifying candidate’s scientific achievements as well as professional and additional qualifications,
• list of scientific publications,
• candidate’s statement that Lublin University of Technology will be the place of primary employment (see the attached pdf file),
• candidate’s statement of consent to the processing of personal data necessary in the recruitment process (see the attached pdf file).

Documents should be sent by post to the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology of Lublin University of Technology, Nadbystrzycka 38, 20-618 Lublin, Poland as well as sent via e-mail to [email protected] by February 14, 2024. Please be informed that the maximum size of files attached to a single e-mail must not exceed 25 MB. The employment is planned to start on February 22, 2024.

Please be informed that documents of the candidates whose applications are rejected will be shredded in 60 days after the end of competition. If a candidate would like to withdraw his/her documents, they are obliged to inform us while applying.

Skills/Qualifications

Qualifications required:

• scientific degree of PhD Dsc Eng in the field of technology in one of the following areas (or related): computer science, information technology, automation, electronic engineering, electrical engineering and space technologies; mechanical engineering,
• fluent command of the Polish language,
• command of the English language at advanced level (at least B2, may be confirmed by publications written in English)
• predisposition to teaching and scientific-research work,
• conducting of interdisciplinary research,
• experience in publishing in journals with IF.

The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions specified in the article no. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 The Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742 as amended) as well as in the Statute of Lublin University of Technology.
