We are looking for MSc researcher and lecturer in the disciplines related to general photonics, with target knowledge in optical fibers (designing and characterization) and optical fiber devices.

Skills/Qualifications

completed higher education with a Master’s degree of equivalent in the field of Technical Physics, Photonics or equivalent;

fluency in English (B2);

fluency in Polish documented by a certificate, diploma or scientific publications

scientific profile consistent with the Microsystems and Measurement Systems Division  (ZMiSP);

Specific Requirements

knowledge of the subject matter in the field of fiber optics;

knowledge of issues related to the characterization (experimental analysis) of optical fibers, optical fiber components (including optical fiber sensors), in particular in the near infrared range;

the ability to set-up and adjust optical systems and the ability to use advanced measuring devices and light sources (optical spectrum analyzers, spectrometers, interrogators, lasers, etc.);

readiness for conducting of experimental research under supervision:

readiness for conducting lectures in the field of optoelectronics and photonics;

readiness for self-development in the field related to the scientific and didactic profile of ZMiSP;
