Offer Description
Center for Cellular Immunotherapies, Warsaw University of Life Sciences is looking for candidates with master degree in biological sciences or related for 1 faculty position as the Assistant.
Candidates should also be an author or co-author at least 1 publication published in scientific journal included in the list drawn up in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 20.07.2018 Higher Education and Science Law (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668, 2018) or in scientific journal included, prior to the publication of the list referred to above, in the list of scientific journals announced by the competent minister in accordance with the provisions issued on the basis of art. 44 sec. 2 of the repealed Financing of Science Act of 30.04.2010.Persons applying for this position must meet the conditions set out in Act of July 20, 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668)andWULS-SGGW Statute. Additional requirement is lack of breaks in employment longer than 6 months (due to reasons other than medical issues or maternity leave, this applies only to the candidates that have been employed before anywhere), experience in working in scientific project.
The duties of the candidate will include independent teaching and research conducting. The teaching language will be Polish and English.
The candidate should be characterized by the following features:
- good knowledge of issues in the field of cell biology, oncology
- hands n experience in molecular biology, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy
- communicative knowledge of English (at the level of C1),
- ability to work in a team and flexible organization of working time,
- proficient computer skills in MS Office, FlowJo, BioRender, GraphPad,
- ability to use computer databases.
In case of similar skills, the additional criteria of candidate selection will be: (1) knowledge about the current topics of oncology, cell biology, molecular biology, (2) experience in participating and conducting research projects, especially European projects, (3) very good knowledge of English – C1 certificate, (4) experience in international cooperation, (5) experience in teaching.
