DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):
We are looking for candidates with doctor degree in biology or in related field for a faculty position at the Adjunct level.
Candidates should also have a good experience in cell molecular biology, plant stress physiology as well as
should be an author or co-author of at least four publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals in the above mentioned field.
Persons applying for this position must meet the conditions set out in Act of July 20, 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668) and Statute of SGGW.
The duties of the candidate will include independent teaching of molecular biology, physiology, genetics and research conducting. The teaching language will be Polish and English.
Those joining the contest should provide to the Office of the Institute of Biology (building No 37, Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW, Nowoursynowska 159, 02-776 Warsaw, Poland), from 9.00 am to 3 am, the following documents (by email [email protected] or in person):
- an application for employment addressed to the Rector of SGGW
- personal questionnaire form
- CV (including description of the scientific career)
- a copy of PhD diploma
- a list of papers published and accepted for print (editorial certificate required), submitted manuscripts
- evaluation of the conducted classes or the monothematic lecture (there will be possibility to organize lecture for candidates).
This is a two-stage competition. Please be advised that we will respond only to selected offers. We reserve the right to end the competition earlier or leave it unresolved.
