Assistant professor

The University of Zielona Góra, Zielona Góra, Poland invites applications for an academic position in medical sciences (specialty cardiology) at the Assistant professor level, to commence on October 1, 2021. This position will be housed in the Department of Cardiology, Institute of Medical Sciences. We are looking for an academic who should have the knowledge of his specialty with a basic experience in research. A good communication skills are also required. Candidates are expected to contribute to both undergraduate teaching and clinical research in the field of medical sciences (cardiology) under the mentorship of Senior Faculty. The candidate should have a PhD degree, specialization in, cardiology or in progress, and a research record(at least three publications after 2018). Experience in working with students at the cadiology department.

The application should include the following: Curriculum Vitae and a letter of application, copies of academic/qualifications transcripts (diploma in MD, certificate of medical specialization and PhD degree), a statement of research interests (a list of publications, IF and Hirsch index), a statement of teaching interests, and certificate(s) of language proficiency (both in English and Polish, if the native language is not Polish).
