of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the University of Warsaw announces a competition for the post of Teaching Assistant Professor at the Department of Korean Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

 

Number of posts - one, full time

Selection process

The competition is the first stage specified in the Statute of the University of Warsaw for the recruitment procedure as an academic teacher, and its positive resolution is the basis for further proceedings.

Documents will be accepted at the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University of Warsaw 09.00-16.00 except Saturdays and public holidays until June 6, 2022.

    Cultural studies: PhD or equivalent

  • REQUIRED LANGUAGES
    POLISH: Mother Tongue
    OTHER: Excellent
    ENGLISH: Excellent

Skills/Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree in humanities - Korean Studies.
  • very good command of spoken and written Korean language;
  • native speaker of Polish;
  • very good command of English;
  • specialization in the field of Korean Women’s literature;
  • didactic experience (minimum 5 years), especially in teaching Polish people Korean language, Chinese characters (mixed writing system used in the Republic of Korea) and socio-cultural issues (in the former and modern Republic of Korea).
