Offer Description
We are looking for an assistant professor (research and didactic position) in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biochemistry,Faculty of Chemistry, Gdansk University of Technology.
TASKS/ ROLE
-conducting scientific research in the field of identification and investigation of properties of natural compounds of antimicrobial activity
-preparing manuscripts of publications presenting research results
-teaching in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Cell Biology courses
REQUIREMENTS
-PhD degree in Chemical or Biological Sciences or getting this degree before the planned employment date
-documented scientific record and research experience in the field of investigation of chemical and biological properties of natural compounds, especially of those exhibiting antimicrobial activity
-good knowledge of English language (min. level B2)
-knowledge of Polish language at the level allowing teaching
-fondness and at least 2-year teaching experience
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
-English language in speech and writing allowing for the publication of scientific results is welcome
-skills to work with Office software and scientific software, including: ChemSketch, ChemOffice, Isis Draw, Top Spin, Mestrenova are welcome
