Offer Description
  • Participation in research work within the scope of Institute statuary activities and contracted external projects, as well as in activities related to the application of research results in industrial practice;
  • Initiating research, preparing applications and applying for funding for scientific projects;
  • Publication of research results in journals from the JCR list, patenting of developed solutions;
  • Participation in cooperation with external entities, including the agri-food industry, implementation of research and development projects connected/related to an industrial environment;
  • Preparation of scientific opinions for food industry companies and government authorities

Skills/Qualifications
  • PhD degree in the field of food technology, biology, food quality science or others related to the research area of the department;
  • documented experience in the field of food technology related to characterization of microorganisms and their application in food and feed production, fermentation processes, management of waste raw materials for biogas production and others,
  • at least 5 publications in journals with an impact factor (IF) included in the Journal Citation Reports database, with the total IF not lower than 20;
  • experience in participation in at least 1 research project; (e.g. financed by the National Science Center, National Center for Research and Development, European Commission, etc.);
  • scientific internship,
  • experience in laboratory work in the fields of microbiology, food, and nutrition technology, possibly molecular biology, chemistry, biotechnology, or related fields
  • experience in preparation and application for scientific grants;
  • fluent and active in Polish and English (spoken and written) .
