The knowledge of:
• issues related to classical and modern methods (with particular emphasis on genetic methods) of microbiological analysis of food,
• the law regulating food safety,
• the methods used in prediction of microbiological quality and estimation of the shelf life of food products
• issues related to the use of microorganisms in biotechnological processes.
Analytical experience. Teaching experience in working with students.
If hired, the employee will be expected to:
• conduct teaching (in Polish and in English)
• participate in research projects conducted in the Institute
• participate actively in research activities and organizational works of the Institute
Required qualifications:
• the title of PhD in Food Technology and Nutrition
• special interest in food microbiology;
• at least a year experience in teaching students
• ability to independently organize and plan research
• good knowledge of analytical techniques, in particular: classical and modern methods of microbiological analysis of food;
• diligence, ability to work in a team, creativity;
• documented scientific achievements (publications in the field of microbiology)
• good knowledge of Polish and English at a level sufficient to teach in Polish and in English
