Skills/Qualifications

• PhD degree in agricultural,  veterinary or biological sciences
• publication of at least 4 monographs or scientific publications that appeared in scientific journals included in the current lists of the Ministry of Education and Science, and if they were published before 2019, included in the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in part A, and after obtaining post-doctoral degree at least 5 scientific monographs or scientific publications that appeared in scientific journals included in the above-mentioned lists
• project management or submition of a research project, including research or development grants or implementation of investments related to education and scientific activity, maintenance of scientific and research equipment, research station (SPUB) or special IT equipment (SPUBi), financed in a competition mode by foreign institutions or organizations international and by domestic institutions, or obtaining, through the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, funds for the research services (KZL) at the request of entities not belonging to the higher education and science system, worth at least PLN 50,000,
• documented at least good knowledge of English or another congress language, to the extent that allows independent writing of scientific publications in this language and presenting reports at scientific conferences,
• proficiency in Polish (speech and writing)
• predispositions for scientific work (first of all, writing an articles, conducting complex research projects, participation in scientific conferences, internships and scholarships abroad, documented national and international scientific cooperation will be taken into account)
• experience in nutritional research conducted on fish
• experience in the field of histological techniques is welcome
• confirmed participation in scientific projects of basic and/or application research
• computer literacy in basic MS Office programs, including MS Teams
• experience in working with software: Nis-Elements and Statistica is welcome
• obtaining a positive opinion of the committee responsible for didactics about the conducted classes, and in the case of persons applying for employment and who are not employees of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences - obtaining a positive opinion of the committee for a scientific paper presented at a seminar organized at the Independent Department of Ichthyology and Biotechnology in Aquaculture of the Institute of Animal Sciences of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences
• experience in conducting histology classes or lectures in Polish
• positive personality traits, creativity, responsibility, conscientiousness, diligence, communicativeness, readiness to broaden knowledge and the ability to work in a team
