KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- conducting a high-level research in accordance with the regulations defined in the „Strategy of the University of Silesia in Katowice” and publishing papers in the renowned international scientific journals,
- participation in acquiring funds for scientific research and participation in realization of projects as a project manager/coordinator or a contractor,
- striving at initiating and realizing international cooperation by taking part in research and publishing the research results,
- teaching classes in the 1st cycle and 2nd cycle studies for the degree programmes Biology and Biotechnology,
- realization of the annual teaching load of 210 hours in accordance with the rules in force at the University of Silesia in Katowice and defined by the Biology, Biotechnology and Environmental Protection degree programme director,
- engaging in the activities popularizing science and results of the candidate’s research,
- realization of organizational duties in accordance with the Individual Scope of Duties.
