Description (field, expectations, comments):

The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out

in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on higher education and

science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and the following

qualification criteria:

Candidates are invited to apply for a full-time research position

at the Chemistry Department, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń,

Poland, in the framework of a SONATA BIS project: “The role of

non-covalent interactions in the formation of supramolecular assemblies

and the phenomenon of single-crystal-to-single-crystal transformations“,

funded by the National Science Centre.

The candidate should be a skilled organic chemist, who is able to

work independently in the lab and has a passion for bench work. The work

will focus on the synthesis of a range of organic molecules

(for example heterocyclic ligands, macrocyclic compounds), which

will be used in the laboratory for further studies such as obtaining

coordination compounds, in the case of heterocyclic ligands.
