Offer Description

The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and the following qualification criteria:

Hold a doctoral degree in chemical sciences or a master's degree in chemistry with advanced, documented doctoral proceedings (submitted dissertation).

They have publications in the field of chemistry in journals from the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Journal Citation Reports (JCR) - publications in Q1 and Q2 journals and experience in dissemination are preferred research results at domestic and foreign conferences.

Have advanced knowledge in the field of biomedical chemistry, organic chemistry and polymer chemistry

They know methods of organic synthesis, FTIR and UV-vis spectroscopy, analysis of biological, strength and thermal properties.

They have experience in conducting scientific research;

They have the ability to use measurement analysis software and spreadsheets;

Fluent knowledge of English and Polish;

Experience in acquiring, managing and implementing research projects preferred;

Organizational skills will be additional advantages;

Candidate's personal competences:

- The candidate should have high interpersonal and communication skills.

- Active approach to teamwork, critical thinking and willingness to share knowledge.

- Independence, organization, focus on details and timely performance of duties.

- Readiness for short-term domestic and foreign trips to cooperate with research partners.

- A positive and inclusive approach to working with both colleagues and students.

Readiness to conduct teaching classes with bachelor's/master's students in the field of chemistry.
