Offer Description

The candidate should meet the conditions set forth in the Law of July 20, 2018. - Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e., Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742 hereinafter the Law). Working conditions and salary according to the applicable Law.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in engineering (or equivalent) from Automation and Robotics or related field, in the  discipline of automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technology.
  • Familiarity with scientific issues, as evidenced by publications, manuscripts of publications, theses,  projects, references or speeches at conferences and competitions, covering the topics of: Autonomous  robots (unmanned flying or driving vehicles) using vision data, perception of the environment using object tracking, processing, analysis and recognition of images and acceleration of algorithms using  FPGA platforms and heterogeneous SoC FPGAs, use of artificial intelligence in vision algorithms and its acceleration in embedded systems, design of computational architecture for heterogeneous systems.
  • Authorship or co-authorship of at least one article in an Impact Factor journal and presentation of at least one paper at an international conference.
  • Ability to typeset text in Latex.
  • Teaching experience in image processing, embedded systems or programming and completion of a teaching development course.
  • Knowledge of English at a level of at least B-2, documented by an appropriate certificate.
  • Knowledge of the Polish language to the extent of being able to:
  • communicate with other members of the team,
  • present in front of the research group the progress of the work,
  • present in Polish at scientific conferences,
  • Candidates who are not Polish citizens should attach a certificate of knowledge of the Polish language at the level of at least C-1.
  • 8.         Knowledge of programming languages: Python, C, C++, HLS and Verilog/SystemVerilog.

    9.         Knowledge of OpenCV, PyTorch, Vivado, Vitis HLS libraries and development tools.

    • has the qualifications specified in the Law,
    • has full legal capacity,
    • has not been punished by a final court judgment for an intentional crime,
    • enjoys full public rights.
