Competition for the position of assistant in the group of research and teaching staff carried out at technical studies in the Department of Geotechnics, Roads and Geodesy at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences of the Bialystok University of Technology.

The candidate should have a professional title of Master of Civil Engineering with at least a good grade on the diploma of graduation from university studies.
The applicant should have knowledge of English at least at the B2 level and predispositions for didactic, scientific and organizational work.

Expierience in execution of constructing works. Expierience of teaching in higher education.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates entering the competition should submit the following documents:
1) an application addressed to the Rector of Bialystok University of Technology for employment as an assistant in the group of research and teaching staff;
2) a personal questionnaire for a person applying for employment with information on the processing of personal data (template available for download on the website www.bip.pb.edu.pl in the tab: Work at Bialystok University of Technology - Database of forms and documents);
3) a document confirming obtaining the title of magister engineer or magister degree of Civil Engineering with at least a good grade on the diploma of graduation from university studies.
4) a self-report on the scientific, didactic and organizational achievements along with a list publications;
5) a declaration of compliance with the requirements specified in Art. 113 and 116 of the Act of July 20, 2018. Law on higher education and science (template available for download on the website www.bip.pb.edu.pl in the tab: Work at Bialystok University of Technology - Database of forms and documents);
6) a document confirming the knowledge of a foreign language at a level of at least B2; in the case of foreigners, knowledge of the Polish language sufficiently to enable the preparation and conducting of didactic classes;
7) other documents, materials or information that may be of importance in the competition (f.e. building qualifications, certificate of completed internship).

Selection process

Documents should be delivered till February 29, 2024 at Bialystok University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences,
Dean's Office, room 32, 15-351 Bialystok, Wiejska Street 45E.

Additional comments

Participating in the competition upon employment at the Bialystok University of Technology undertakes to:
1) being in an employment relationship with the Bialystok University of Technology as the primary workplace;
2) include affiliation of the Bialystok University of Technology in their scientific publications.
3) submitting a statement on including in the number of employees conducting research activity in the discipline of civil engineering, geodesy and transport and statement on representing the discipline of civil engineering, geodesy and transport.
