Assistant in a group of research and teaching staff at the Institute of Mechatronics and Information Systems at Lodz University of Technology

Scope of basic duties:

• conducting research in the field of virtual reality, augmented reality and Human-Computer Interactions;

• conducting didactic classes at first and second cycle studies and the Design Thinking method;

• participation in research projects carried out at the Institute and applying for grants financed by external institutions;

• active participation in the organizational activities of the Institute.

The competition is open to persons who meet the requirements set out in the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science and the Statute of Lodz University of Technology, i.e. have the professional title of master, master engineer or equivalent and predisposition to research and teaching.

Requirements:

• documented scientific achievements in the form of at least two publications in recognizable scientific journals (from the Web of Science database);

• scientific and research interests in the area of virtual reality, HCI, DT and materials engineering;

• design experience - participation in at least five projects related to the use of VR / AR technologies and Design Thinking;

• completed international research internship;

• confirmed knowledge of the English language (at least C1), which enables conducting classes with students in English;

• experience in conducting classes using PBL and DT methods;

• confirmed competences in the field of virtual reality design;

• knowledge of the Polish language in speech and writing;

• ability to think analytically and solve problems;

• ability to work in a team, creativity;

• experience in conducting classes.

Candidates entering the competition should submit:

• employment application addressed to the Rector of TUL;

• personal questionnaire;

• a certified copy of the graduation diploma;

• photocopies of publications;

• documents confirming qualifications;

• candidate's declaration that TUL will be the primary place of work.
