Vacancy for assistant in Department of Process Control, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics, AGH University of Krakow, discipline: Mechanical Engineering.

Employment as part of the 2nd edition of the competition "Independent scientific work for employees with habilitation", Action 21, IDUB (application 8708).

Skills/Qualifications

Candidate should fulfil requirements specified by Act from 20 July 2018 yr – Law on Higher Education and Science (Dz. U. z 2023 r. poz. 742 z późn. zm.).


Specific Requirements
  • A Master of Engineering degree or equivalent in the discipline of Mechanical Engineering.
  • Predispositions to conduct scientific activities.
  • Active participation in the student scientific movement or documented scientific achievements resulting from higher education, studies at a doctoral school, doctoral studies, or professional work.
  • Knowledge of MathWorks MATLAB/Simulink, COMSOL Multiphysics and NREL OpenFAST environments.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as Autodesk AutoCAD/Inventor, SolidWorks.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office software.
  • Documented knowledge of English language at B2 level (or higher).
  • Documented participation in research and development works in the field of mechanical engineering.
  • Documented participation in scientific conferences.
  • Documented organizational achievements.
  • Experience in preparing grant applications.
  • Analytical skills.
