Dean of Instrumental Department of the UMFC announces an Open Competition for the position Assistant, from whom the UMFC will be first place of employment; Speciality: bassoon playing; Major: Instrumental Studies.

Candidates entering the competition shall be obliged to:

1. Meet the requirements specified in Article 113 and 114, 115 of the Act of 20.07.2018 "Law on Higher Education and Science ("Journal of Laws of 2018. item 1668)

2. Hold a  Master's diploma in Music in the artistic discipline- Instrumental Studies

3. Have achievements and attainments in artistic activity


Specific Requirements

1. Application for participation in the Competition addressed to the Rector of the UMFC

3. Certified copy of Master's diploma in Music arts

4. Documents certifying artistic achievements

5. Personal questionnaire (in compliance with the UMFC's specimen)

6. Curriculum vitae

7. Declaration of permission to have one's personal data (included in the submitted documents in connection with the participation in the Competition) processed (in compliance with the UMFC's specimen)

8. Certificate of clear criminal record of intentional or fiscal offence (in compliance with the UMFC's specimen)

  • Eligibility criteria

    Candidates entering the competition shall be obliged to:

    1. Meet the requirements specified in Article 113 and 114, 115 of the Act of 20.07.2018 "Law on Higher Education and Science ("Journal of Laws of 2018. item 1668)

    2. Hold a  Master's diploma in Music in the artistic discipline- Instrumental Studies

    3. Have achievements and attainments in artistic activity


    Selection process

    1. Perform a program in front of the Commission: Koncert W.A. Mozart KV 191 B-dur cz. I i II and Gordon Jacob Partita with cadenza (approx 20 min)

    2. Teach a demonstration class in a chosen subject (approx. 20 min)

    3. Undergo an interview (approx. 20 minutes)

    Documents should be emailed to[email protected] by 31.03.2024

    Documents should be submitted by 31.03.2024 to the Dean's Office of the Instrumental Department , room 306, UMFC building, 2 Okólnik Street, Warsaw.

    The competition will be resolved on 06.04.2024 by a selection committee established for this purpose

    Positive results of the Competition shall not guarantee employment at the position of assistant.

    Duties:

    1.Improve your qualifications

    2.Educate and educate students and other participants in the studies conducted by the University and the Faculty

    3.Participate in the organisational work of the University and the Department

    4. Be a member of one of the UMFC Chairs and participate in its work

    5.Attend the meetings of its chair

    6.Participate in semester and annual examination committees for all forms of study in the Faculty, including placement examinations

    7.Participate in committees for entrance examinations as appointed by the Dean

    8.Participate in qualifying auditions for artistic endeavours undertaken at the Faculty - as directed by the Dean

    9.Participate in other departmental examinations - as directed by the Dean

    10.Respect the weekly working hours of academic staff

    11.Be competent in the Statutes, Work Regulations and Study Regulations of the UMFC to the extent necessary to function properly within the structures of the University
